GREYSTOKE VISIT: Scarvagh Diamond joined her new trainer Nicky Richards on 21st October and on 14th November a few of the group popped down to see her training at Greystoke in Cumbria.

Zara looked very well and went nicely on the gallops under Ewan Whillans. She has settled into her new yard and we look forward to her next race, which will be over hurdles, sometime in the near future. Many thanks to Nicky and his team for a lovely morning! Photo Gallery here..


KELSO RACES, 21st October 06: Scarvagh Diamond ran at Kelso in a National Hunt Flat race and finished in fourth place from a field of thirteen [gallery here]. Zara has now joined her new trainer, Nicky Richards, at his yard in Cumbria.


Linda's on a mission to row 10 million meters..
Hawick member, Linda Forrest has taken on an extraordinary challenge.. to row ten million meters and raise money for the Borders Branch of the MS Society.

JS Crawford Charity Fun Run at Melrose on Sunday 28th May 2006..
The participants enjoyed the sunshine as they made their way round the 3 mile course.
Three hundred and thirty four people took part in this years run, some in fancy dress, some walking dogs or pushing a pram but everyone had fun and thats what it's all about.. plus raising funds of course! Gallery here..


Charity Quiz Night ..
The Borders MS Racing Club.. A sell out evening for the Charity Dinner and Quiz night held on 9th May at Kelso Racecourse! Lots of money was raised for the Borders Branch, the highlight of which were the signed Harry Potter books which raised £2500 alone! Many thanks to all who supported the event. Photos here..


SEDGEFIELD: Diamond Mick ran at Sedgefield on Easter Monday (17th April). The ground was poor and from a entry of sixteen Mick finished in 9th place. Gallery Here!


KELSO: Diamond Mick ran at Kelso on 3rd April in the betfair.com Handicap Hurdle (class 4) .The ground was soft and not to his liking but he ran a good race finishing in 7th place. Gallery Here!
