About the Club...
The MS Borders Racing Club was the inspirational idea of one of our members, Rhona Elliot. Rhona herself has MS, and in September 2004 she organised a syndicate and established the Racing Club.
"I wanted to do something for MS because it affected me, and I really wanted to give something back and try and help," Rhona said. "One of my goals is to have an MS nurse in the Borders. I've always been determined and felt enough wasn't being done in our area. I wanted to do something positive, something fun which other people could be involved with. That's when my idea began to form.
The MS Borders Racing Club has received a lot of publicity since 2004. In February 2006, the club and Rhona featured in the Sunday Post. The article is a good introduction to the work of the club, the ups and downs, and can be read in full by clicking here.

The racing club is not part of the Borders Branch, or the MS Society, but it does use the logo and the colours of the society to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis.
